"The Meat Inspection Act"
1. How did the jungle affect the way americans thought about the ways meat was produced? Because the jungle was the sickening condition of the n it quickly spreaded to the people! I think Upton Synclair did a good job creating the jungle to let everyone know the truth about the meat. and the conditions the meat was in. This all played the part of him being a muckracking journalist so he knew what he was doing and how it was going to work.
2. Regulating Foods and Drugs!? Roosevelt responded to the public's clamor for action. The comissions issued a scathing report backing up synclairs account of the disgusting industry.

The Meat Industry Act
How did the Jungle affect the way Americans thought about the ways meat was produced?
1. I think the jungle explained the sickening conditions of the meatpacking industry..
2. It also explained the meatpacking industry and that it was a very bad environment..
3. Not only was the meatpacking industry an unhealthy environment they provided bad meat as well..
4. And it took forever for the meat to be clean, and fresh..
I think Upton Synclair was a progessive because he was a man who came up with a big idea that became beneficial by creating something called the "Jungle" which explained everything about the meat conditions and how rotten the meat was and how it made alot of people sick.Upton Synclair was a muckracking jounalist was easy for him to bring out the truth.
